The Coffee Republic Deli concept has been so successful we are now undergoing a period of rapid expansion. We are looking to recruit a Franchise Business Development Manager to join our Franchise department.
We are looking for an energetic candidate who has experience in Multi Site Management for an estate of 20 sites or more. You will have good communication and relationship building skills. You must have a proven track record of developing and improving existing businesses through sales and profit. A sound commercial background and a strong understanding of cash flow and profit and loss is essential. Previous experience within a Franchise organisation is preferred.

Brief Description
The successful applicant will train, consult and develop Franchisees, their business and their staff through regular visits and contact. They will implement sound business and quality processes while maintaining company standards within the franchise network. They will provide leadership and support to the Franchisees whilst instilling a can do attitude. They will be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of the retail industry.

Description:
The Franchise Support Trainer is an ambassador for the Coffee Republic brand and training must be delivered to the highest standards at all times. Training is of the up most importance at Coffee Republic, we pride ourselves on brand standards and training can be tailored to suit the individual’s needs.
A large percentage of working hours will be spent in a bar training or supporting the team or Franchisee undergoing training there. You will be required to train existing Deli teams following a three to four day training programme including ingredient knowledge, equipment training, all fresh production and deli service. All trainees will be Food Graduated by you at the end of their training. You will train new franchise teams situated on site at the new bar for the training period while the bar is closed on all aspects of Delista role over approximately five days. You will also provide bar opening support ensuring the bar and team are set up and ready for the first week of trading.
At all times the Franchise Training Team look to continuously improve the levels of service we give. The support role will be to review success of current training plans and programmes and passing feedback to the department. The business we work in is constantly changing, you will need to keep up to date with procedures, menus and standards and match those standards in the teams training plans.
At Coffee Republic, personality goes a long way. You should be a team player, appreciate the value of good customer service and be able to handle a demanding workload.
Candidates will be required to set high standards of performance and quality for oneself and be able to convey them clearly to the trainees. Candidates will be good at time management, flexible and self sufficient and be willing to travel to different bars across the country, sometimes training or supporting in five different bars in the same week.
Candidates should have experience of either the coffee market having worked as a barista, supervisor or bar manager ideally, or have worked in the food and drink or service industries previously.
