Coffee Republic at Newquay Cornwall Airport!

This summer we will see the opening of two new Coffee Republic bars at the Newquay Cornwall Airport. The speciality coffee retailer will open its first store selling signature espresso drinks and freshly prepared food in the check in area of the airport, with the new look departure lounge café opening towards the end of July.

Commenting on the development at Newquay, Coffee Republic Chief Executive Tariq Affara said: ‘I’m delighted with the partnership we have with Newquay Cornwall Airport. Newquay with its surfing culture is the perfect fit for Coffee Republic’s funky, edgy brand image. We are pleased that Newquay customers can now enjoy our genuinely roasted in Milan coffee as well as our food which is freshly made on site’.

It is a pleasure to welcome them to the airport, and I hope all our passengers will enjoy their product. The new look and feel of the both the airport’s café’s will dramatically improve the overall passenger experience here at Newquay.’

The Newquay Cornwall Airport opening is part of the company’s expansion using franchisees as well as its own bars. This month will also see the opening of two other Coffee Republic sites, South Woodford, London and Clacton.
